Read here the second excerpts of Sri Swami Vishwananda's speech concerning his trip to Israel:
Sri Swami Vishwananda:
Sometimes we have to look outside to make us realize what is inside. And that’s how we human are functioning. Very often we forget about it what we hold inside of ourselves, until we are reminded of it. That’s why in the world there are so many pilgrimage places. But the pilgrimage place is not about the place itself, it’s about reminding yourself. The reminder that Christ has talked about, whatever He has taught about and He didn’t teach about any dogmas. All that He taught about was about love. And that’s the simplest thing that we forget about. We hang on- we have not to do this, we have not to do that, we have not to do this and that- so many. That we forget about what we have to do.
I remember once, when I was studying theology I said to the bishop: „All that you have taught was about dogmas, but there was not one single time when you have talked about the love of Christ, not a single time you have talked about how He really did live. We read about the Bible, we read that He was with His disciples and all this stuff, but He was also a very alive person.
