Mahavatar Babaji- an expression of Love

Sri Swami Vishwananda: You know about Mahavatar Babaji.
How many of you know Him?
Oh, ok.
Babaji is a Master in India.
Actually He is about 5,000 years old, still alive.
Because He is my Satguru, I can tell you something; of course here is just a picture, a drawing, and He looks very strict, actually.
But I tell you, He is such an expression of Love that it’s difficult with words to express it.
Even the word Love is limited to express this Love.
And as He said to me once, if He achieved that, everybody can.

Babaji's gift for all of us

Sri Swami Vishwananda is telling us the story, of how Babaji manifested a gift for a devoted Lady.

Sri Swami Vishwananda: Now I tell a you story: There’s a lady who also is a very close devotee with Babaji.
So one day, when she was always around Babaji.
One day when she was leaving the place where Babaji, she needed to go somewhere.
Babaji called her and said, “Here.”
Babaji, just picked a stone, and gave it to her.
To receive something directly from Babaji was very great, because He doesn’t give personal gifts to everybody
. He will not come to you and say, “Oh here take this for you.”
He can if He really want, but only rarely He does that.
This lady was so happy to get a stone from Babaji.
And Babaji just put His hand over the stone.
It was like a light.
It print imprinted the Aum (OM) sign on the stone.

Devotee 2: What a gift.

Sri Swami Vishwananda: Well…then Babaji said, “ Keep this gift, till the time I come to you and tell you to whom (laughing) to give it.” (laughter).

Mahavatar Babaji is the name given to an Indian Saint by Lahiri Mahasaya and several of his disciples who met Mahavatar Babaji between 1861 and 1935. Some of these meetings were described by Paramahansa Yogananda in his book "Autobiography of a Yogi"(1946), including a first hand telling of Yogananda’s own meeting with Mahavatar Babaji. Another first hand account was given by Sri Yukteswar Giriin his book "The Holy Science".All of these accounts, along with additional meetings with Mahavatar Babaji, are described in various biographies of those mentioned by Yogananda. Mahavatar Babaji’s given name and date of birth are not known, so those who met him during that period all called him by the title first given to him by Lahiri Mahasaya. "Mahavatar" means "great avatar", and "Babaji" simply means "revered father". Some of the encounters included two or more witnesses—discussions between those who met Mahavatar Babaji indicate that they all met the same person.(Source: Wikipedia)

The manifestation of the Hiranyagarbha Lingam part 2

We are very happy to provide you today the second excerpt of Sri Swami Vishwananda's Speech on Monday, the 30th November in the Babaji Cave in Springen:

Sri Swami Vishwananda:
What you’re experiencing now, means for sure – in general I am talking - you have done really
good things because it’s not always that you see the Hiranyagarbha Lingam. Even the Devas, they long for that. Because it cannot even be created by Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh; it can be created only, well…by somebody living… Well they [Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh] live also somewhere (laugh). Today we are celebrating Babaji’s day. Who knows what it is today? Today we celebrate the decision of Mahavatar Babaji to stay on earth. You see, Babaji wanted to leave this planet. Then his sister interceded, and said “It doesn’t make any difference for you whether you are there or here. So why don’t you stay?” Actually it’s on this day, 1800 years ago plus some years that he chose to live and immortalized himself here in this world. So that’s what we are commemorating today. It’s like a renewal that he will be always there to help humanity whenever it’s needed.
So it’s time now for the changes to happen. It’s time that humanity calls upon him and receives his help. Whether humanity calls him or not, he will help. But from us it’s a nice gesture to do so. And you all get the blessing of the Hiranyagarbha Lingam, so I hope all of you will profit. And whoever is in your thoughts, in your prayers will also profit and the whole world as well.

After the ceremony:
So you can meditate on the Hiranyagarbha Lingam. Meditate and see the Lingam here, on your third eye, then bring it into your heart. Just see the image first in your mind and bring the image in your heart, and let the Lingam merge into your heart. You see it's equal blessing even just to see a picture of the Hiranyagarbha Lingam.
So you are blessed to see the Lingam itself.

Manifestation of the Hiranyagarbha Lingam, part 1

Today we would like to share with you the first excerpt of Sri Swami Vishwananda's speech on the 30.11.2009. This special day was not only the day where Mahavtar Kriya Babaji decided to stay on this planet, but also Sri Swami Vishwananda manifested a golden Lingam. (Hiranyagarbha Lingam) [ The second part of his speech will follow tomorrow]

Sri Swami Vishwananda: Jai Gurudev! So nice that you all are here; firstly because it’s Babaji’s day, secondly you receive the blessing of the Hiranyagarbha Lingam. Actually, I already said about the Hiranyagarbha Lingam back in 2005, and well, Babaji wanted that the lingam come, and it came. Normally this lingam is not manifested just like that because it’s not a normal Lingam. The Hiranyagarbha Lingam, as it is said in the Vedas, is the primordial creation of God- you know actually, it is the Will itself. And even if it seems so small like this, it has the whole universe inside of it. What we are experiencing now, we are also experiencing inside of it; even if it seems outside, we are all inside of it.
So why did it manifest now? Probably you have noticed that the past two weeks the world itself is changing. Probably you have noticed or you have not noticed (laugh.) But there are some changes happening in the world, it has nothing to do with 2012, to make it clear- but which will reflect to a greater change later on. So, while travelling with Pritala last week, I was saying to him that I thought people are changing into better, but actually I realize the contrary. Out of the masses of people that are living in this world only a few are changing really for the best -let’s say for the better. So, actually bringing this Lingam into this consciousness, which is…low consciousness, probably will help to give a boost up in people’s advancement. It is not only you all which are here actually; it not only reflects on you all, because it reflects on the world itself. So, this Lingam has a lot of healing qualities, which means it doesn’t heal only the body, but it heals the soul itself. Of course, one would say, “Our soul? How can our soul be affected? Because our soul is pure and completely into the Divine.” It’s true - our soul is pure and completely into the Divine but around it, what suffocates the soul, is all the karmic things that one accumulated, not only in one life, but many lives.
