Sri Swami Vishwananda: For Yashoda to have Krishna, even if He was not born from Her, She had done a lot of penance, so that the Lord can incarnate inside of Her.
For sure that aspect (Sri Swami Vishwananda was previously talking about Mother Mary) of the Divine Mother also, in previous lives has done lots of penance, so that Christ Himself is born inside of Her.
It’s of no use if I will tell you that She was compassionate or loving, all this stuff, because She was, She is still, when all of you know about that.
But what else can I say?
Well, a lot I can say about Her.
I had the chance to see Her (smiling), several times actually.
So, really, if Mothers would be like Her, the world would change.
No, because She really sees everybody as Her child.
This is how the Universal Mothers see.
Human Mothers see only our possession, 'our child is ours', but the Mother feeling inside sees everybody as a child.
And that’s how the Universal Mother sees, you know?
She sees everybody as Her own.
So that’s why She cares for everybody.

This song describes the mischief of young Lord Krishna, as the gopis describe to hHs mother Yashoda.
The young Krishna who is the Supreme Lord, is also the darling of the gopis and pet of the masses of brindhavan gokulam.
The vrajpuri, The gopis together say: Oh Mother Yashoda, listen to the antics of your Gopalakrishnan who created the Universe with his Maya (illusion).

The video is beautiful! - Even Mothers like Yashoda or Mary sometimes tell their children off. And "normal" mothers, too.Even out of love this may happen. Because if they pampers their little ones, these will never learn...JGD
In India mothers are revered very much. Parents are revered very much, and some Gurus even say one should touch the parents feet every morning before leaving for school. It is said one should revere mother, father, Guru and God, in this order. Because the mother who gave life to us is the foundation of our house, the father represents the walls, the Guru the roof and God represents life itself. - Also one should treat every woman that is older than oneself as one´s mother,i.e. respectfully, every woman that is roughtly the same age as one´s sister and every little girl as one´s child.
Thank you very much for these interesting comments!
Jai Gurudev and much Love

it is difficult to measure or imagine what a mother has to do for her child, how many nights she cannot sleep because the child does not sleep, how many appointments she has to cancel as her child needs her, and be it the teeny that wants to be driven/get transport by car to a friend or to the railway station, or wants his or her jeans to be mended, the twen that wants to be picked up after a party in the middle of the night or early morning, the grown-up that needs babysitting for his or her own child and and and...
Much Love to you also, your blog is wonderful!
