How to awaken Divine Love? A talk given by Sri Swami Vishwananda

From the life of the saints in Christianity or in Hinduism we can see that the moment one surrenders to God, it is God himself who becomes bound to one’s own self. The most important thing about surrender is how one has to build up pure love in one’s heart. To surrender is one thing. But how will you surrender if you do not have pure love in your heart? Difficult! Pure love from one’s heart can even make the Divine serve you . God wants that you awaken to this Divine Love, that you can love like He loves, that you can spread this same love everywhere. Then you become an instrument of his love. But to become an instrument of his love you have to let this pure love awaken from within your heart. And once it awakes, you will see that whatever you do, it will only be for Him. Even when you do something which is wrong in the eyes of other people, but in his eyes it will always be good. Some people will say “yes I will go and kill somebody and I will be good in his eyes”. But it is not like that. Basically, when this pure love awakens, there will be no sign of negativity.
