Faith makes everything happen

This is an excerpt of a Speech of Sri Swami Vishwananda from the 5th February 2010.

Sri Swami Vishwananda: A few months back I have explained, when somebody goes to a saint and
says, “Oh, Mr. Saint, (Swami and people laugh), please, heal me.”
And the saint says, “Okay, just take this medicine and you will get well.”
What makes it happen?
It’s the faith that the Saint has that the person will get healed.
So this faith makes everything happen, makes the healing happen, resolves all of your problems.
Not the drinking, not the smoking.
These are just excuses that humans always try to find.
They get peace just for a short while and then after that more trouble.

Teresa of Avila was a nun who reformed the order of the Carmelites, an ascetic who had mystical visions and communications from God. Charismatic and controversial, she founded monasteries throughout Spain, and is known by works that include her autobiography and The Way of Perfection. She was beatified in 1614 and canonized in 1622 by Pope Gregory XV, and in 1970 was made a Doctor of the Church.

Nada te turbe;
nada te espante;

Everything passes.
God does not go away.
Patience
can attain anything.
He who has God within,does not lack anything.
God is everything!
