About this Blog

This Blog is a collection of excerpts from talks given by Sri Swami Vishwananda. Please note that this Blog does not focus on dates, background and the exact original way of how Swamiji delivered the speech. We edit the talks slightly, presenting them in a kind of “poetic” format. This means we choose certain paragraphs from a talk which reflect a particular theme.
Read them as pieces of Divine Wisdom, meditate upon the words and just feel how Swamiji is addressing you with His words.

Your mind has to dwell on the Divine

Sri Swami Vishwananda: It is said that to realize the Divine, to realize the Divinity, it’s so easy in this Yuga [age] in this moment, but… -there is always a but- what make it difficult is ourselves. Look, whenever something good happens to you, how easy it is for you to forget about
it.
Good things are always happening, but when something not good happens to you, you treasure it. You treasure it with your mind.
Your mind has to dwell on the Divine, not on your problems.

This is a beautiful meditation for deep relaxation. It is illustrated with beautiful pictures of nature
