About this Blog

This Blog is a collection of excerpts from talks given by Sri Swami Vishwananda. Please note that this Blog does not focus on dates, background and the exact original way of how Swamiji delivered the speech. We edit the talks slightly, presenting them in a kind of “poetic” format. This means we choose certain paragraphs from a talk which reflect a particular theme.
Read them as pieces of Divine Wisdom, meditate upon the words and just feel how Swamiji is addressing you with His words.

This material world is not the ultimate of everything

Sri Swami Vishwananda: Humans have many wants, isn`t it?
They want this, they want that.
The wants never finish. One want comes after the other.
As long as the mind is focused on the outside, as long as the mind wants the material, as long as the mind says that you are just a human being, you are just a mere human, you will be that.
You have to reach the point and the moment where you feel Love, the moment where you say that ‘this’ (material world) is not the ultimate of everything, because all the other wants will never finish. You can desire a nice car: the moment you have it, this desire goes away.
Then you have desire for another thing, and when you have the other thing, another desire will come, and so on and so on.

This is another excerpt of the book "Just Love" by Sri Swami Vishwananda, which you can purchase on:

Come on a journey out of this material to the biggest and topmost spiritual planet Goloka Vrindavana, Lord Krishna's personal abode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEyZznOXpPw
