Sri Swami Vishwananda: Have you ever sat down and looked at the nature?
Have you ever felt the nature?
That Love which is burning inside of you, that Life which is inside of you is everywhere.
If you analyse the Truth around you, if you analyse the beauty around you, you will realise that we are all linked together by one thing, which is Love.
And it’s beyond the religions, it’s beyond the colours, it’s beyond your status in the outside.
It’s beyond the duality that is in your mind, because Love doesn’t know any duality.
This is another wonderful excerpt of Sri Swami Vishwananda's book Just Love
Please watch this video with beautiful nature images
I hope all of you have a wonderful day, maybe going out for a walk or sitting on the balcony and just enjoying the beautiful nature around you that God created as a divine gift for you.

What is life?
Sri Swami Vishwananda: Again I ask the question: What is life?
The Divine is far away.
For the mind to understand the Divine is very difficult.
Until you have really cleansed the mind completely, until you have really purified the mind completely, it is quite difficult to understand the Divine.
Love. Life is Love.
And Love, of course, is Divine. Love is God.
But the feeling of Love, that’s what life is all about, to realise this great Love, not just this partial love when today we say “I love you” and tomorrow “Who is that person?”
Life is not that love, but the Love that is beyond expression, this Love that is unconditional, which is
in everything around you.
That’s what is life.

Life is not just working, eating, sleeping
Sri Swami Vishwananda: Life is not just working, eating and sleeping, like people very often think.
People enslave themselves in work.
They enslave themselves in eating.
Most of the time they don’t eat properly.
And they enslave themselves in just sleeping.
Life goes on and when the time comes for their departure, then they realise “Oops, I have missed something.”
When they look back and see how many opportunities they had of realising the beauty
of life, they regret because they realise how many opportunities came on their way, so that they could realise themselves, so that they could realise how great is this gift of life that God has given!
And yet, they wasted it.

Why do we sing?
Surdas singing to Sri Krishna |
Why do you think that people, when they sing, are in such a great joy?
They forget about everything.
Why is it?
It’s because when we sing the power of mind is less in action.
We are deeper into this Divine energy, because all the vibrations are cosmic energy.
If you would like to have all talks by Sri Swami Vishwananda in a compiled form, it might be a good idea to order his book Just Love

Sri Narasingha Dev and His consort Lakshmi |
And it’s the same if you want to wake up the Divine, which is sleeping within your heart, call His name.

When you chant, chant from deep within
Sri Swami Vishwananda: When you chant OM, you chant from deep within you, from the microcosmos that you have inside of you.
That’s what is said in the Vedas.
They talk about the microcosmos, which is deep within humans, where the Divine is seated all the time.
That’s why, also, when you sing, if you want to make it more powerful, let it emerge from deep within you, and you will have more power.
That’s why when a lion roars, he roars from deep within.
You never see a lion roaring very softly from the outside.
That’s why he is the king of the animals.
The roaring of the lion is so powerful that it sometimes shakes even the Divine!
We recommend you to have a look at Sri Swami Vishwananda's latest book: Just Love

The power of sound
Chaitanya Mahaprabhu doing Sankirtan |
We will just chant: Ram Ram Ram Sita Ram.
When you sing, let it come from deep within you, not just outside.
This is the power of sound.
And to make it more powerful, it has to emerge from deep within.
That’s why when you say OM, you don’t just say OM from the throat, otherwise there is no vibration into it.

Be always simple and loving
Sri Swami Vishwananda: Yesterday, during darshan, I was holding a little baby.
It was so sweet to look at how the child was.
She came to me, she had the candy, and the moment she turned to the mother and looked at the mother, she didn’t even want the candy, you know.
She wanted to go to the mother.
It brings me great joy to see this surrender, you know.
Then I said to the people: Imagine if the whole world would be like that, if they saw the Reality.
If they knew about God and they knew the illusion, you know, they would let go of the illusion and run towards God-Realisation. It was really great.
The child didn’t bother about the sweet, or the chocolate, nothing!
No toys even mattered to the child, because the mother was the most important.
That’s why whenever we do things, it comes to a point where we lose this satisfaction, because whatever we do on the outside, which is just material-centred, has a limit and it is finished after some time.
When we do something with our heart, the simple things that we do will give us joy. So, be always simple and loving.
It was lovely to be here with all of you. It was just on time.
Even if I live in Europe, I still carry on with certain Indian traditions, you
know, the time tradition - the Indian time.

Have faith like a child
Sri Swami Vishwananda: As Christ said to His disciples: What I am doing, you all can do much more, you just have to believe it, and if you believe without doubt, it will happen.
You need faith like a child, because when you look at a child, a child doesn’t ask questions.
It’s true! You go to a child and you say, “Listen my dear, that boy is your brother”.
The child will not say “Yes, mother” or “No, mother” or “Why it is like that?”
No, he will just accept it, because the mother has said “Yes, this child is your brother”, because she knows it!
This confidence in the mother, you know, is there!
And that self-confidence you should have.
This is just a fragment. If you would like to purchase the whole book of Sri Swami Vishwananda, please click here: Just Love

Sri Swami Vishwananda: Without Love, nothing works.
You go to work and you need to love your job.
You love your children, your husband or your wife.
You always love.
In everything that you do, there is Love, you know.

We now recommend you a book, which is "full of Love": Just Love

Love, Patience & Unity
Sri Swami Vishwananda: Love has many aspects and one of the aspects is harmony and another aspect is unity.
That’s why on the bottom of the Bhakti Marga logo, you will see that there is Love, Patience and Unity.
Firstly, these three basic things are not on the outside, but are within us.
If we want to give Love, we have to become Love.

The world will change only through Love
Sri Swami Vishwananda began his Pre-Darshan Speech in Mafra Portugal, on the 13th April 2008 with the following words:
It’s lovely to be here and to sit with all of you and it’s lovely, especially, the good things that you all are doing.
Love is the most important thing and we each have to become an emissary of that Divine Love.
And to become an emissary of that Love, we have to realise firstly how important it is, because it’s only through Love that the world will change.
It’s only through Love that peace and harmony will be restored.

Guided meditation- Focussing on positivity
Sri Swami Vishwananda: I would like to do a little meditation with you-a very simple one.
A guided meditation:
Take a few deep breaths and when you breath out, drop your shoulders; release all the pressure from your shoulders.
Close your eyes. Focus your concentration on your third eye.
And then, with the power of creation that God has given you,
create the OM sign or any Divine symbol or aspect - the cross or any symbol you feel close with.
And concentrate all your attention on this point, on this aspect.
The mind will think; let it think. Don’t try to stop it; don’t use force to stop it. But don’t hang onto this thought.
In the same way it comes let it go.
Focus on this Divine aspect, and, with your ears, listen to your breathing.
Listen to it carefully. You will hear, when you inhale - if you listen properly - you will be inhaling OM in and the same when you exhale, the sound will be OM.
After some time, you will feel a pressure point where you are concentrating.
Let it expand. Let this energy expand, covering your whole head.
Let it expand to your upper part of your body - your arms, your chest, and your back.
Let it expand to the lower part of your body - your legs, your feet.
If you have any pain or illness, focus on that point.
Let it vibrate.
Now, focus on the heart. Let the OM vibrate in your heart.
Let it vibrate more and more and at the same time, choose the image that you created, that you like, and make it go inside your heart.
So come back to yourself.
You see this form of visualisation is very simple for practicing anywhere you are. In place of thinking or talking of things, which are of no use, learn to sit quietly, keep the mind busy, but keep the mind focussing on positivity.

Sri Swami Vishwananda: You have to consider how Love is.
Even in a normal relationship, you forget about everything when you are in Love.
All goes well.
Then, after some time, it becomes such a routine.
Then you get fed up.

Start by loving yourself
Sri Swami Vishwananda: To achieve this Divine state you have to really love God.
You have to start, firstly, to love yourself.
You love everybody.
Every day you say to somebody “I love you,” but how many times do you say to yourself “I love you?”
It’s easy to love others, but some say that it is difficult to love one’s self.
But I will say, “No, it’s not difficult.”
See, when you love others, you see the goodness in others, but when the point comes to love yourself, you see all your negativity.

God is always with you
Sri Swami Vishwananda: All your searching towards the outside is of no use, because at the end you realise that He’s always with you, deep in your heart.
God is always with you.
It’s like with the ocean where you have lots of precious gems.
To get them, you have to dive into the ocean and go deep inside.
So, God lies deep in the heart of man.
With your mind you have to dive, dive deep within your heart, because everywhere are the waves of illusion.
This is a fragment of Sri Swami Vishwananda's book Just Love
Today i wanted to share with you a beautiful song which is fitting perfectly to today's blog entry: God is with us

We are on a search
Before giving Darshan in Budapest, Hungary on July 29th 2006 Sri Swami Vishwananda said:
Sri Swami Vishwananda: It gives me great joy to be with all of you.
We are all here because of our spiritual path, because of our spiritual way-this way to the heart, this way to realisation, God-Realisation.
Most of you probably know that the main aim, on the outside, is to know thyself, to realise the completeness of who you are in Reality.
In this search, you make many travels to India, travels to America, travels everywhere, but all this searching on the outside has a limit.
We are on the search and the search brings us to fun places.
We meet different people, but still we are incomplete.
We say, “God I have left heaven to realise it here.
Whatever I’m doing, I’m doing it for Thee.
Wherever I go, I’m just looking for Thee.”

We meet different people, but still we are incomplete.
We say, “God I have left heaven to realise it here.
Whatever I’m doing, I’m doing it for Thee.
Wherever I go, I’m just looking for Thee.”

Try to achieve this Love
Sri Swami Vishwananda: Try to achieve this Love and to become this Love.
Try to realise how much Love you have inside of you and then spread it.
Love can’t be kept.
Like that you become an instrument of the Divine and He reflects through you, He acts through you.
And then you realise what your mission is.
