"I am unworthy, yet you have shown mercy on me" - Surdas

Sri Swami Vishwananda: Sūra krūra is lāyaka nāhī.
Sura Das is writing here, saying “Lord, I am unworthy of that Love.”
He’s saying: “I am unworthy. I don’t deserve that, but yet you have shown Your mercy on me.”
Sūra krūra is lāyaka nāhī | kaha lag karau baḍā.
So He is the merciful one.
