Swami Vishwananda says: "When the mind is surrendered to the
lotus feet of the Lord, when it is surrendered to God, the Divine
starts to shine and give the qualities to the person. When you do
japam; when reciting the divine names, you start to shine the
qualities of the Divine inside your heart, out. The same thing, if
the mind is concentrating on the problem, the person becomes very
problematic, no? Even if you tell the person “Don’t do that!”
the person will always do it. And it’s always at the beginning –
if at that moment you sit down, you calm yourself and you analyse the
situation, you will find the solution because in every situation that
arises, the solution is also there. But for that you have to learn to
introvert yourself. Sit down quietly. Look at the situation
face-to-face. Look at what your mind is saying and look at what your
heart is saying. Then take the decision. Then you will always be in
the moment."
