Swami Vishwananda talks about Loving God

Sri Swami Vishwananda says "That connection that one has with God is love. You know God can create anything. He has created the whole universe, He has created human beings even. But one thing He can’t do. You know what? He can’t make you love Him. And that’s why when you love God, He makes it more sweet, He intensifies it and if you are sincere He manifests.

And that is the greatness of love which you give to Him. It’s like when you love somebody, you can’t force the person to love you back. As the lover you can offer your love to the beloved, it’s up to the beloved to accept it or to reject it. And that’s the aim – to make Him feel that you love Him, to let Him know that you love Him. He is very shy, He is like you people. You know, He hides deep within yourself and He peeps only when He perceives that there is love from your side."
