About this Blog

This Blog is a collection of excerpts from talks given by Sri Swami Vishwananda. Please note that this Blog does not focus on dates, background and the exact original way of how Swamiji delivered the speech. We edit the talks slightly, presenting them in a kind of “poetic” format. This means we choose certain paragraphs from a talk which reflect a particular theme.
Read them as pieces of Divine Wisdom, meditate upon the words and just feel how Swamiji is addressing you with His words.

Stories told by Swami Vishwananda during Satsang in Bari

Sri Swami Vishwananda said "Once a simple lady was living in a small hut. Two people were observing her and her poverty. They told her " We can help you and provide for you." She was laughing and said "Who provides for the poor and for the rich? The same One and I know Him very well. He gives me all that I need." They answered "But you don´t have a drop of oil to put in your lamp and get some light." The lady smiled, put her finger up, and a light came into the room. All this is about how much we trust in God, how much we surrender - then He reflects in proportion to our sincerity. The Divine name should always be on our lips, then we will begin to reflect Him. The Love of God is the only thing that is real. It is the only reality: the Love of God. All is predetermined. Only the Love for God is not. This is the free will of man. The Goal of spirituality is to love, that's all."
